News from around Peotone.
The Quiltmakers 7 p.m. program on July 10, at Calvary Bible Church - 2587 E. Armour Road in Bourbonnais, will feature Merrie Woodward from Yorkville, who will inspire those attending with an "Introduction to Art Quilts." She also will bring Challenge Quilts and Slice Quilts made by members of her guild. Perhaps, these will inspire guild members for our own challenge quilts for next year's AQS show in Grand Rapids!
Merrie will be back on Saturday, July 12, (at Bourbonnais Public Library) for what she calls an "Art Supply Play Day" and will bring supplies for members to use - such as Tsukeneko Inks, Pebeo Setacolor Paints, Shiva Paint-Stiks and Ink-Tense Pencils. To participate, a sign-up will be at the Thursday night Meeting.
