Ellen Sawin of New Lenox has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the University of Evansville, Ind., where she is majoring in Visual Communication Design.

Several area residents have been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.

From Crete: Alex Hackel and Chrissy Liccar.

From New Lenox: Stephanie Coccaro, Kirsten Grothaus, Nichole Hayes, Sarah Pomykala, Bethany Presutti and Erica Rudie.

Several area residents have been named to the president's list for the fall semester at Kankakee Community College. To be named to the president's list, a student must maintain a grade point average of 3.80 or higher and be enrolled in six or more semester hours.
