Julia Perri Earns PHS Board January Student Of The Month

Julia Perri holds a 4.9 Grade Point Average, is a National Honor Society member, plans to pursue a nursing degree

THE PEOTONE school board's January Student of the Month is Julia Perri, the the daughter of Tony and Caryn Perri of Peotone. She is a PHS senior who has earned a 4.939 grade point average and ranks fifth in her class of 152 students. Julia is active in National Honor Society, International Culture Club and Student Council. She also is a member of the girls' basketball, soccer and volleyball teams. Outside of school, Julia is an AWANA youth group leader and a Biddy Basketball coach. In her spare time, she like to reads, hang out with friends and play sports. She plans to attend a four-year university and pursue a degree in nursing. She received a certificate of recognition from Board President Tara Robinson during Monday night's board meeting. --photo by Karen Haave
