The Beecher Fire Protection District reported 13 calls for the week of January 16, with a total of 51 calls this year.

January 16: 4:08 p.m., the fire department responded to the 30000 block of S. Cottage Grove Avenue for a structure fire.

January 17: 3:38 a.m., the ambulance responded to the 2800 block of E. Indiana Avenue for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. James, Chicago Heights; 9:47 a.m., the fire department responded to the 500 block of Miller Street for a fire alarm; 12:26 p.m., the ambulance responded to the 200 block of Aspen Drive for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. Margaret Mercy Dyer; 3:21 p.m., the ambulance responded to the 1200 block of Dixie Highway for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. James, Chicago Heights.

January 18: 5:23 a.m., the ambulance responded to the 700 block of E. Corning Avenue for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. Margaret Mercy South; 7:12 a.m., the ambulance responded to the 1400 block of Trailside Drive for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. James, Chicago Heights; 4:45 p.m., the fire department responded to Peotone with a pumper/tanker for a fire alarm.

January 20: 5:38 p.m., the ambulance responded to the 500 block of W. Indiana Avenue for a medical emergency, no transport was needed.

January 21: 1:05 p.m., the ambulance responded to the 100 block of W. Eagle Lake Road for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. James, Chicago Heights; 6:28 p.m., the fire department responded to the 1000 block of Catalpa Court for a CO investigation; 7:20 p.m., the fire department responded to the 100 block of E. Church Road for a trouble alarm.

January 22: 4:38 a.m., the ambulance responded to the 500 block of Meadow Lane for a medical emergency, the patient was transported to St. James, Chicago Heights.
