Someone entered a residence in the 19000 block of Walnut in Mokena on January 19 and stole a digital camera, net book computer, a .25 handgun, a DVD player, a dozen antique coins, 100 silver state quarters, a gold necklace and two keys.
Someone broke out a back window to a residence in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry January 20 in the 20000 block of Briarwood Lane in Mokena.
Someone broke into a residence in the 19000 block of S. Parker Road in Mokena on January 20 and stole cash, a tennis bracelet, costume jewelry and a watch.
Someone entered the business lot at US 30 Automotive in New Lenox and stole a black 2007 Chevy Trailblazer on January 21. Video surveillance is being examined.
Esteban Hernandez, 30, of the 2900 block of W. 140th Street in Blue Island, was arrested January 22 at Birch Avenue and S. LaGrange Road in Mokena. He was cited for driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
