SPECIAL EVENTS

Join the Manteno Seniors group every second and fourth Thursday of the month at the Leo Hassett Community Center, 211 North Main Street in downtown Manteno. Doors open at 11 a.m. with a buffet lunch for $7 being served at noon. Bingo is played from 1 to 3 p.m. All seniors 55 and older and their guests are welcome. Senior Citizens Assistance Program in Peotone meets from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. the third Thursday of every month at Peotone Public Library. Do you take Lipitor? The $4 Co-Pay Card is for real! Calling all seniors! Heritage Woods of Manteno will host free bingo at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, February 2). Prizes are $5 Walmart gift cards with the grand prize being a $10 gift card. Stick around for refreshments and, if interested, a tour. Free bingo is the first and third Thursday of every month at Heritage Woods of Manteno, 355 Diversatech Drive.
