Teacher Workshop For Second-Sixth Grade Teachers

The Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education (FCAE) program--in cooperation with Will County Farm Bureau, Grundy County Farm Bureau and TREES--will sponsor a teacher workshop on Saturday, February 18, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and Thursday, February 23, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Joliet Junior College Weitendorf Ag Education Center, 17840 W. Laraway Road in Joliet (just East of NASCAR Track Pit Entrance).

A continental breakfast will be provided on February 18 and a light meal will be served on February 23.

The program is for second through sixth grade teachers in Will and Grundy counties. The cost? Free! However, participants must be pre-registered with their choice of workshop day (Feb. 18 or Feb. 23).

This workshop is an opportunity for teachers to get free classroom curriculum materials and classroom books for their classes on agriculture topics such as animals, machines, agriculture and environment. Earn CPDU's and get the chance to get a magic kit ($150-$500 value)! Register now.
