Dance for Life

From ballet to modern and ethnic dance, the Morgan Park Academy's eighth annual Charity Dance Show will introduce the audience to a range of dance styles -- all for a good cause.

The high school students of Morgan Park Academy will put their talents to a good use to benefit the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Dancers' Fund. The student-directed, student-produced show will feature original choreography from Cara Kraus-Perrotta and Sarah Eichinger, both of Beverly, and Brianna Kramer of New Lenox. Each year, the Charity Dance Show raises approximately $2,000 to help fight HIV/AIDS in Chicago.

Performances are at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3, at Morgan Park Academy, 2153 W. 111th Street in Chicago.

Tickets are $5 for students, seniors and faculty, and $10 for adults. All tickets will be sold at the door.
