Elder Abuse, Get Help

Elder Abuse happens in every neighborhood and across every socio economic level and it isn't just someone experiencing physical abuse.

More often it is someone who is being financially exploited by a family member or friend.

If you know of someone age 60 or older who is being taken advantage of, hurt in any way, intimidated or not receiving needed care please contact Catholic Charities 815-933-7791 or the Elder Abuse Hotline at 866-800-1409 for assistance.

The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Caring, trained professionals will help determine what services will protect the older adult and are only a phone call away. Callers can remain anonymous.
