College and Transfer Fair at KCC

Kankakee Community College will host a College and Transfer Fair from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13.

More than 50 public and private colleges and universities are expected to attend. Current college students, high school students and the public are invited.

Illinois public universities expected to attend are: Chicago State University, Chicago; Eastern Illinois University, Charleston; Governors State University, University Park; Illinois State University, Normal; Northern Illinois University, DeKalb; Southern Illinois University, Carbondale; Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville; University of Illinois at Chicago; University of Illinois Online; University of Illinois at Springfield; University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and Western Illinois University, Macomb.

Illinois private colleges and universities expected to attend include: Augustana College, Rock Island; Benedictine University, Naperville; Blackburn College, Carlinville; Columbia College, Chicago; DeVry University, Tinley Park; Dominican University, River Forest; Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington; Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago; ITT Technical Institute, Orland Park; Judson University, Elgin; Kendall College, Chicago; Lincoln Christian University, Lincoln; National University of Health Sciences, Lombard; North Central College, Naperville; Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais; Olivet Nazarene University-ROTC, Bourbonnais; Rockford College, Rockford; Shimer College, Chicago; Trinity International University, Deerfield; and University of St. Francis, Joliet.

Out-of-state universities expected to attend include: Ashford University, Clinton, Iowa: Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.; Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Ind.; Lane College, Jackson, Tenn.; Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind.; Saint Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa; Taylor University, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and University of Wisconsin, Platteville.

The event will be held in the Concourse Atrium Area and College Center, inside the main entrance at KCC. KCC is located south of downtown Kankakee off River Road, near U.S. 45-52. Directions are online at www.kcc.edu/directions/.
