Computer classes
The "Women for Family Farms" group is sponsoring a series of computer classes for Will County Farm Bureau members.
"Webpages and the Internet" will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 6 and 14. "Learning about Facebook" will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on February 28 and March 1.
Registration is limited to the first 18 that sign up so do not delay in signing up for these programs.
Cost is $5 per class. This cost includes both nights. The classes will be held at the Joliet Junior College Weitendorf Agricultural Education Building located at17840 W. Laraway Road in Joliet (East of the NASCAR track's main entrance).
"Webpages and the Internet" will include making a web page, "Cloud" computing basics, setting up accounts and maintaining a website. "Learning about Facebook" will include topics such as posting pictures from your digital camera and keeping up with changes. Computers will be available for use or bring your own laptop. Digital cameras are also encouraged.
Call the Will County Farm Bureau at 815-727-4811 no later than February 24 for registration.
