Peotone To Host Informational Meeting On Electrical Aggregation
Peotone public meeting will explain electrical aggregation to help residents prepare to vote on the referendum issue
A public informational meeting about electrical aggregation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, in the Peotone High School auditorium, 605 W. North Street.
Purpose of the meeting is to provide information about electrical aggregation and to answer questions that Peotone residents may have about the issue.
Electrical aggregation will be on referendum ballot in the General Primary Election on March 20. The question that will be put to voters is: Shall the Village of Peotone have the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers who have not opted out of such program?"
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
Although this is not an official village board meeting, a quorum of the village board members may be in attendance.
