Golfer scored hole-in-one  Share
Jerry Jack Kirkpatrick of Crete, scored a hole-in-one on July 28. The ace occurred on Hole 7, a par 3, 137 yard hole at Cardinal Creek Golf Club in Beecher. Jerry scored the hole-in-one with an 8 Iron and had this to say about it: ''Towards the end of the round, league play, nearing dusk, the ball came off atypically high for my ball flight, yet it felt crisp. It landed two feet beyond the hole and backed in. To top it all off, we won the match by a single stroke.''
