Clara Eustace
Private services were held for Clara L. Armstrong Eustace, 98, of Jensen Beach, Fla., formerly of Monee. Mrs. Eustace died Saturday, November 22, 2008, at her home. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Elsa) Eustace, and John (Jan) Eustace; a daughter, Virginia "Ginny" (Armand) DeToro; 11 grandchildren, Dawn (the late Jamie) Loughlin, Glen (Gina) Eustace, Blake Williams, Jeff (Karen) DeToro, Julie (Jim) Krolczyk, David (Amy) DeToro, Christina DeToro, Steven (Michelle) Dye, Michael (Hollie) Eustace, Nick (Amy) Eustace and Erica Eustace; and 16 great-grandchildren: Hunter and Riley Loughlin; Jordin, Jake, Zhenya and Vlad Eustace; Johnny, Katie and Gianna DeToro; Anthony, Olivia and Michael Krolczyk; Cody and Cassidy Dye; and Brian and Chelsea Eustace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eustace; a son, Thomas Armstrong Eustace; her parents, Thomas and Claire Shannon Armstrong; and a sister, Virginia Armstrong. Memorials may be to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. Arrangements were under the direction of Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home in Chicago Heights.

Maynard Klipp
Services were held Monday morning for Maynard Fredrick Klipp, 83, of Manteno. Mr. Klipp died Friday, November 21, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee. Born November 29, 1924, in Kankakee, he was a truck driver for more than 40 years and worked for Rogers Cartage. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, past commander of American Legion Post #755 and a member of its color guard.

He enjoyed bowling. Mr. Klipp is survived by his wife, Nathalee "Nanny" Clement Klipp, whom he married on May 26, 1951, in Manteno; two sons, Guy (Carol) Klipp of Taylors, S.C., and Tye (Debbie) Klipp of Roscoe; four grandchildren; a sister, Lettie (Bill) Brave of Kerville, Texas; and a brother, Everett Klipp of Newberne, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Etta Shipp Klipp; and five brothers, Bob, Harold "Skip", Frank, Russell "Doug" and Milton. The funeral was conducted November 23. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Manteno. Arrangements were under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Manteno.

Arnold Moldovan
Services were held Tuesday afternoon for Arnold R. Moldovan, 74, of Grant Park. Mr. Moldovan died Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Born July 27, 1934, in Chicago, he was a machinist with International Harvester and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Moldovan is survived by four daughters, Diana Fitts of Maine, Cheryl (Bill) Beals and Laura (Russell) Smith, both of Grant Park, and Christina (Nathan) Smith of Hopedale; two sons, Roger Moldovan and Stephen (Debbie) Moldovan, both of Grant Park; 31 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Anderson of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthmary M. Pilcher Moldovan, on July 8, 2001 (they were married June 25, 1954, in Garden Homes); a son, James Moldovan; his parents, Stephen G. and Charlotte Boleski Moldovan; and two brothers. Graveside services were conducted November 25 at Kankakee Memorial Gardens. Military rites were accorded by the Momence Honor Guard. Arrangements were under the direction of Cotter Funeral Home in Momence.

Delores Swanberg
Services were held last week for Delores Anna Swanberg, 76, of Mokena. Miss Swanberg died Monday, November 17, 2008, at Provena Our Lady of Victory Nursing Home in Bourbonnais. Born October 31, 1932, in Joliet, she was retired after many years as a nursing assistant with the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Frankfort. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Frankfort. Miss Swanberg is survived by a brother, Ralph (Sheila) Swanberg of Mokena; four sisters, Lorraine (Jack) Gardner of Claremont, Calif., Helen (the late Fremont) Warning of Mokena, Geraldine (the late Randall) Bunte of Beecher and Gwendolyn (Clifford) Christianson of Brownsville, Wis.; and two sisters-in-law, Gladys (the late Charles) Swanberg of Mokena and Lorraine (the late George) Swanberg of Port St. Lucie, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew W. and Ruth Linnea Bostrom Swanberg; two sisters, Gladys Swanberg and Marion (the late Jack) Swanberg Nordsell; and three brothers, Harold (the late Myrtle), Charles and George. The funeral was conducted November 21 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Frankfort. Burial was in Manhattan Center Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's United Church of Christ or Vitas Hospice Program in Matteson. Arrangements were under the direction of Vandenberg Funeral Home in Mokena.
