Cleveland Ave. project gets final approval
During its January 13 meeting, the Monee Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a series of measures finalizing all pre-construction steps for the Cleveland Ave. Realignment Project. One of those measures, ''Inducement Resolution for Cleveland Avenue Road Improvement Project,'' will enable the village to receive reimbursement for expenses incurred through the project.
Once completed, the project will make traversing the intersection of Cleveland Ave. and Monee-Manhattan Rd. easier and safer, especially considering the high volume of truck traffic in the area.
