Irene Weller

Irene E. Weller, 98, of Manhattan, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet.

She was born in South Wales and came to the Manhattan area as a young child.

She is survived by her two daughters Judith (LeRoy) Thrun of Steger and Janet (Mel) Bose of Chicago, five grandchildren, Bryan (Karen) Thrun, David (Elizabeth) Thrun, Brenda (Ken) Doherty, Mark Bose, and Jill (Chris) Deakins, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elizabeth Cecil and her husband Lloyd.

Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, at Forsythe Funeral Home in Manhattan. Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, at Wilton Center Federated Church in Wilton Center. Burial in Wilton Center Cemetery.
