William Bell

William C. "Bill" Bell, 60, of Manteno died Monday, February 13, 2012, at his home.

He was born May 29, 1951, in Chicago. He was a former employee of Harland Technology and was a US Air Force veteran.

Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Susan Shabel Bell, whom he married on May 19, 1978, in Brookfield; a son, Bill (Rebecca Bell of Manteno; a daughter, Laura Bell of Kankakee; six grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Chloe, Bill III, Ryan and Aubree; a great-grandchild, Aiden; his parents, Robert and Irene Eisel Bell of Midlothian; two sisters, Jacqueline (Jamie) Poynton of Hickory Hills and Nancy Copley of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and four brothers, Robert (Kim) Bell of Sinking Springs, Penn., Richard (Lora) Bell of St. Anne, Steven Bell of Villa Park and John Bell of Rock Falls.

Visitation 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, February 26, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday, February 27, at St. Patrick's Church in Wilton Center, with Fr. Dan Hoehn officiating. Burial in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
