Christina Egdorf

December 19, 1982 — February 14, 2012

Christina Marina Egdorf, 29, of Belvidere, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at her home.

She was born December 19, 1982. She was a 2001 graduate of Peotone High School, and held various jobs throughout the area including being a nanny, a cook and the entrepreneur of her own jewelry business, Bloomin Beads. She loved listening to music, especially folk and bluegrass, creating unique and beautiful necklaces, going to Summer Camp Festivals, and hanging out with her family.

Ms. Egdorf is survived by her parents, Charles (Diane) Egdorf of Bourbonnais and Marina Beri of Chicago; two sisters, Michelle (Kirby) Krause and Marissa Mandarino; two brothers, Charles Egdorf and Brendan Egdorf; a step-sister, Gina Roemer; a step-brother, Steve Rothenberg; her paternal grandfather, Charles J. Egdorf; nieces and nephews, Logan and Gunnar Krause, Joseph, Sophia, and James Mandarino; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Patricia E. Egdorf; her maternal grandparents, Marino and Modesta Figuerres; and an uncle, Kenneth Neubert.

Visitation 3 p.m. until the hour of services at 7 p.m. Friday, February 17, at Forsythe Funeral Home. Cremation to follow.
