GIRL SCOUT SERVICE UNIT 714, planted an evergreen tree at Peotone Cemetery on May 8 in honor of the Girl Scout's 100th birthday anniversary. The event included a Flag Ceremony and a happy birthday Girl Scouts sing-along. Unit members and their moms who participated included Kathy Webb, Emily Prium, Paula Prium, Emma Fabsits, Misty Perlman, Sherri Parker, Tori Perlman, Aubrey Parker, Sophie Stack, Sharon Stack, Sarah Zych, Mary Ann Drexler, Jane Heintz, Kristen Heintz, Terri Martz, Tricia Martz, Debbie Vowell, Grace Vowell, and the only guy in the group--Richie Martz, from Peotone Cub Pack 315, Den 12.
